Pelo que leio das plataformas parece-me que o Marc será o mais indicado para DPL, gostei das metas e dos projectos a que se propõe.

Por outro lado o Raphaël fala numa irmandade para servir de DPL (constituida por 3 pessoas) que acho que na prática servirá apenas para complicar ainda mais as coisas (acho que ele vai ficar em segundo pela terceira vez novamente :P ).

O Steve parece-me um candidato com uma visão mais superficial.

Nas 2 últimas eleições o 2º classificado tem sido convidado a ser assistente do vencedor.
E se a tradição se mantiver isto voltará a acontecer e farão um bom trabalho.

Penso que nos últimos mandatos tem melhorado a comunicação, a informação e as equipas.
Espero que continue _mas_ que Debian se vire (ainda) mais para os utilizadores.
Debian tem funcionado melhor (e a meu ver, bem) internamente e só teria a ganhar em utilizar essa força também virada para o exterior - refiro-me a sangue novo e a algum 'marketing' para mostrar um 'produto' tão bom e surpreendente.

Destes projectos o que gostei mais foi o do Marc, mas não sei se um tipo de 22 anos será um bom DPL. O Raphaël tem uma visão colegial que pode, de facto, fazer mais mal que bem. O Steve é o que tem mais experiência em Debian, mas acho que não inova o suficiente.... a ver vamos :)

The last time we had such a low turn out was in 2001, and then
we only had less than one third the number of developers. Yes,
shortening the voting period has been such a *fun* experiment.

If you have been waiting for the last minute to cast your vote,
this is it. Yes, we have decided to cut the voting period short this
year. I would not advice waiting for the 11th hour, since mistakes
happen: people forget to sign their ballot, send it to the wrong
address, or have problems with their MUA mangling the ballot; leave it
